I, as a young trans composer, center my compositions around the broader concept of identity, both inside and outside queerness. My works seek to explore the complex emotions across my many identities, between confidence and self-doubt, euphoria and dysphoria, religion and secularism, nature and machinery, humor and melancholy, life and death, and all of the wonderful and horrifying parts our world is comprised of. Every human being has a draw and alignment for specific things, and I aim to portray these feelings and concepts through the sound of music to create larger discussions about the aspects and values that we all hold.
